Well I never!
The official Bolton Wanderers Twitter has just released the following photos which make my heart flutter:

The Icelandic striker left the club to sign for Chelsea a massive 14 years ago after netting 27 goals in 77 appearances between 1998 and 2000. The fee was a criminally underpriced £4m but such was our financial woe at the time that we had no choice but to part with our prize asset.
He since moved to Barcelona, to Monaco, to Tottenahm Hotspur, to Stoke City, to Fulham, to AEK Athens before settling in Belgium with Cercle Brugge and most recently their cross-town rivals Club Brugge. He also spent some time on trial at Seattle Sounders of MLS, though failed to earn a contract there.
What a man, what a man, what a mighty good man. A mighty mighty good man.
