Tom Youngs Leaves Bolton on Loan

Another youngster leaves the club to get some experience.

On the final day of the Football League loan window, it seems Bolton will be sending a player or two out on loan, in order for them to get some much needed game time and experience.

The first departure of the day is young winger, Tom Youngs, who has joined Oldham Athletic on a youth loan until January 5th.

The 20-year-old made his league debut for Bolton last season, as he came on as a late substitute in the 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Loan spells have worked wonders for some of Youngs' team mates in the development squad, Andy Kellet, Hayden White, and Conor Wilkinson, who also spent time at Oldham, for instance. So hopefully the opportunity to play some competitive first team football will have a similar effect on Youngs, and he comes back a better player.

Young goes straight into the squad to face Oldham's local rivals, Rochdale, on Saturday, and we wish him all the best.
