Bolton Wanderers are relatively healthy at the moment, although I would not say Neil Lennon is spoiled for choice. He seems to have a core 14 or 15 players that appear in every squad, then a group of young/unproven players that rotate in the last few spots. I assume this pattern will continue against Huddersfield Town.
Marc Tierney has had another surgery on his ankle. He will not feature anytime soon, and there is at a least a chance that he will never feature again for Bolton. We all know the situation with Stu Holden, although Neil Lennon is still hopeful. Adam Bogdan may feature for the reserves next week. Everyone else is fit. Here is my predicted starting XI:
Andy Lonergan
Josh Vela Matt Mills Dorian Dervite Tim Ream
Liam Feeney Chung-Yong Lee Darren Pratley Neil Danns
Max Clayton Craig Davies
As you can see, I don't expect the manager to make any changes. I could see Feeney being replaced with a more defensive minded midfielder, such as Liam Trotter or Jay Spearing, but I think that is unlikely. We will continue to see the 4-4-2, and we will continue to see good performances at home. I think Bolton will win 3-1, with Clayton, Davies, and Pratley getting the goals. What do you think?
