Bolton Wanderers have been very good at Macron Stadium since Neil Lennon took over. He would very much like to continue that form against a side that look to be well ahead of us in the table (We are 21st, they are 14th) but actually only have a three point advantage (21 to 18). It's a big match that could finally see Bolton put some space between ourselves and the relegation zone. Here is the team that will try to do it:
Bolton Wanderers | Huddersfield Town |
GK: Andy Lonergan D: Josh Vela D: Matt Mills D: Dorian Dervite D: Tim Ream M: Liam Feeney M: Darren Pratley M: Neil Danns F: Max Clayton F: Craig Davies |
GK: Alex Smithies D: Tommy Smith D: Mark Hudson D: Joel Lynch D: Jack Robinson M: Conor Coady M: Diego Poyet M: Jacob Butterfield F: Sean Scannell F: Grant Holt F: Nahki Wells |
Bolton subs: Adam Bogdan, Oscar Threlkeld, Joe Mason, Rob Hall, Liam Trotter, Dean Moxey, Jay Spearing
Huddersfield subs: Lloyd Allinson, Paul Dixon, Jonathan Hogg, Danny Ward, Murray Wallace, Joe Lolley, Lee Peltier
There you have it! It's a good looking side. Some might have made a change or two after the performance at Blackpool, but Neil Lennon has stuck with his favored starting XI. Of note for Huddersfield, former Bolton loanee Jacob Butterfield starts in midfield.
What do you think of this lineup? And while we're at it, give us a score prediction.
