In the aftermath of Bolton Wanderers' excellent 3-0 home win against Cardiff City, manager Neil Lennon has been discussing the need for the club to find consistency as they aim to get out of the relegation zone especially with the next game being somewhat of a biggie at home to local minnows Wigan Athletic this coming Friday.
Speaking to the official website, Lennon said:
"The next thing for us is to now be consistent. We can't keeping winning one, losing one. We've set a good standard now and we have to maintain that.
He continued:
"We've beaten a team that were in the Premier League last season, so the lads know that they have it in them now.
He then said:
"We had to slightly tweak our team in the second half, with Cardiff bringing on Ravel Morrison. They went to a diamond, so we decided to match them up."
Impressive words from the man who has made an excellent start to life at Bolton.
The future is indeed bright.
