Speaking to the official Bolton Wanderers website, manager Neil Lennon discussed his delight with the performances of his attacking players.
With goals coming from Max Clayton, Craig Davies and Chung-Yong Lee, it meant that all three of his forward players got on the scoresheet as Wanderers ran out easy 3-1 winners over local knobheads Wigan Athletic.
Lennon said:
"The first goal was crucial and we got it. I don't how Chungy sees the pass to Max - I don't think anyone else in the stadium saw it. It was a great finish from Max too.
"I thought Max was a threat all night. His movement was fantastic and he caused all kinds of problems getting in behind the defence.
Lennon continued:
"The second goal for me was the goal of the night. It was a great move and it was pleasing to see Craig get on the scoresheet for all the work he puts in for the team.
"We've set a benchmark now and people are now starting to talk about Bolton for the first time in a while.
"We're out of the bottom three - that's the first part of the job done. We now have to push on."
I wonder what Jermaine Beckford makes of all this....
