Move grows ever closer

The rumoured signing of Eidur Gudjohnsen has gained further traction today with news from Iceland of the deal being done.

We have yet to hear official confirmation from Bolton Wanderers, but the player's inclusion in the reserve side to face Middlesbrough tonight surely hints at a move being imminent:

The club posted the above tweet earlier tonight and it saw a run of #OMG tweets, understandably.

It's a strong Wanderers side with a wealth of first team experience throughout the team including regular first choice goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, former Middlesbrough defender David Wheater, Liam Trotter and Conor Wilkinson who have all seen first team football for the Whites.

I'd comment on the Middlesbrough side but I've never heard of any of them.

Anyway, tonight is all about Eidur. Wanderers are set to make a lot of fans VERY happy in the coming 24hrs when the announcement of his return is inevitably made.
