Ex-Wanderers Boss Set for MLS Job?

Coyle set for Stateside switch?

Ex-Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has reportedly held talks with Major League Soccer franchise side Houston Dynamo over becoming the team's new manager following their own boss moving to San Jose Earthquakes.

According to Sports Illustrated journalist and self-important tweeter Grant Wahl (who searches for his own name on twitter, getting involved in conversations that are critical of his writing), former Wanderers and Wigan Athletic manager Coyle has been interviewed by the Dynamo after being identified as a possible candidate for the role.

Coyle has been out of football since being sacked by Wigan in December 2013.

He has been in the press over here in the last couple of days, speaking candidly about how he didn't get on with racist Wigan chairman Dave Whelan and it looks like this new development will see Coyle get the chance to try his luck abroad.

He has in the past been linked with the job in New York but it was understood that wage demands scuppered that deal.

I still wish him luck, despite his failings with the Whites.
