Darren Pratley Out for the Season?

Blow? Not a blow? Can't decide

Clive Brunskill

Rumours abound this morning that Bolton Wanderers' midfielder Darren Pratley has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury suffered in the weekend win against Watford. Nice alliteration.

It is believed that his season could be over due to snapped screw in an old shoulder injury. The midfielder ‘popped' his shoulder in the 24th minute of the Watford game at the weekend, and was eventually replaced by fellow midfielder Neil Danns. It was initially reported that Pratley would be fit to 'make do' until the end of the season, but it appears that he instead may require an operation that will rule him out for months.

He has been in and out of manager Dougie Freedman's Bolton side this season, though despite this has still made 31 league appearances, scoring twice.
