The BBC have confirmed today that Bolton Wanderers' former Swansea midfielder Darren Pratley will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury suffered in the recent home win over Watford.
As reported on The Lion of Vienna Suite last week, Pratley suffered a snapped screw in an old shoulder injury. The midfielder ‘popped' his shoulder in the 24th minute of the Watford game at the weekend, and was eventually replaced by fellow midfielder Neil Danns.
It was initially reported that Pratley would be fit to 'make do' until the end of the season, but it appears that he instead may require an operation that will rule him out for months.
Manager Dougie Freedman said:
"The surgeon found bits of screw had snapped off all over it, so he had to take them all out and restructure his whole shoulder"
He has been in and out of manager Dougie Freedman's Bolton side this season, though despite this has still made 31 league appearances, scoring twice.
