According to the BEN, Bolton Wanderers' young centre-forward Tom Eaves is a summer transfer target for League One outfit Coventry City.
Merseyside-born Eaves, 22, is one year into a a new three-year contract signed with the club in 2013 after impressing manager Dougie Freedman with some impressive performances in training.
The somewhat injury-prone Eaves has already had spells with Bristol Rovers Rotherham and twice with the Shrews since joining Wanderers from Oldham as a teenager four years ago.
His current spell on loan at Shrewbury has seen him score just twice in 20 appearances.
Eaves is likely to find himself well down the pecking order when his loan expires, given the expected return to the club of Marvin Sordell to join the ranks of strikers such as Jermaine Beckford.
Any moves for Eaves might also depend on whether Wanderers can strike a deal to sign loan pair Joe Mason and Lukas Jutkiewicz.
