In a move sure to please both Bolton Wanderers fans and hairdressers in Bolton, the club have announced that on-loan Leicester City midfielder Neil Danns has signed a one year contract to remain in the North West.
31-year old Scouser Danns has been one of Dougie Freedman's few loan signings to have made a real impact in this most disappointing of seasons and it comes as no surprise that the club have moved to sign him up before his loan spell expired and other clubs could snatch him from our grasp.
Danns signed an initial three month loan back in September, which was then extended until the end of the season. In his time at Wanderers, Danns has scored six goals in 34 outings for the club.
His ability to play in several positions across the midfield has engendered him to the manager and supporters alike, as well as his lovely hair.
He has a lovely singing voice too - as seen here offering a surprisingly good cover of 'If I Were a Boy' by Beyonce:
