Bolton Wanderers, famously tighter than a gnat's chuff, have generously teamed up with Macron to provide 2014/15 season ticket holders with the chance to watch the club's final pre-season fixture for free.
Wanderers face Dutch side, and fellow Macron brothers, Vitesse Arnhem at the newly christened Macron Stadium on Saturday 3rd August.
The move to offer free tickets, sponsored by our new stadium and kit manufacturers, is a nice gesture of comradeship and hopefully this will lead to a bumper crowd of over 5,000 cramming into the West Stand for the pre-season game against the Dutch Eredivisie outfit.
As per the club website:
Season ticket holders simply need to present their 2014/15 season ticket cards on the turnstiles on the day of the game for admission. No paper match ticket is needed.
This generous act surely makes up for the Carling Cup Final farce and the Gary Megson years. Well, perhaps not. Maybe just a bit. No, actually no.
