Leeds United have reportedly informed Stephen Warnock that he is free to find himself another club.
The left-back was expected to remain at Elland Road for next season, particularly because his current contract has 12 months left to run.
Former Liverpool, Blackburn and Bolton Wanderers man Warnock is an ex-England international who made little impact during his 2013 loan spell at the Reebok Stadium, as it was, during a three-month loan deal. making a total of 15 appearances for our great club before returning to Villa.
According to reports, the Ormskirk born 32-year-old has been told by his employers that he does not feature in their plans for the forthcoming campaign.
Now I would say that he'd make a good signing for Bolton, but given that Dougie Freedman has seen Warnock play, and given that Warnock supposedly is earning a fair wedge at Leeds, it would seem that former Crystal Palace man Jonathan Parr is a more affordable option.
