Ex-Bolton Wanderers loan striker ("striker") Benik Afobe has joined League One side MK Dons on a temporary basis.

21 year old Afobe, who has been at Arsenal since turning pro in 2010, had a frustrating spell at the Reebok Stadium in 2012 during our first Championship campaign, scoring just twice in 20 appearances. Afobe was brought to the club by then-manager Owen Coyle but following the departure of the Scottish/Irish, I forget which, manager, Afobe's loan was summarily cancelled by new boss Dougie Freedman.
It was for the best. Afobe was one of the worst signings in recent memory, and believe you me that's a long list.
He since went on to 'enjoy' loan appearances at clubs including Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday, though somewhat unsurprisingly he only scored two goals over both spells.
His career tally is impressive, so long as you don't like goals: 65 appearances, 9 goals. Not great for a striker unless your name is David Ngog.
