During the recent Family Fun Day event, it has been revealed that Dougie Freedman confirmed that Bolton Wanderers' Mark Davies is injured, yet again.
This time a broken toe is the culprit.
Davies, 26, joined Wanderers in 2009 but in those five seasons has made just 128 appearances, averaging out at just under 26 games per season which, considering that Premier League and Championship seasons bring 38 and 46 games respectively, is pretty damned terrible.
He is without doubt one of our most talented players but I struggle to think of another signing that we have made in the last few years who has failed to fulfil his undoubted potential as much as the Wolverhampton-born Davies.
This latest injury comes at a time when his future is up in the air. Last season Wanderers rebuffed offers of £5m from Swansea City, but should a Premier League club come in with anything like that then we wouldn't see him for dust.
