MOTM: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Bolton Wanderers

I like Matt Mills. Someone who drags their sorry ass from the precipice of being unceremoniously dumped from the club to transform themselves into a first choice pick then a vital cog and now vice captain deserves huge credit.

I also quite like his big bushy beard as he looks like an ancient Roman warrior ready for battle. Also it reminds me of a time I grew mine as long and fabulously bushy for a very enjoyable stag do in Riga, Latvia.

Anyway, facial hair preferences aside, by all accounts he won the majority of his headers as usual and marshalled a back line that was peppered with crosses from Wolverhampton's wingers reasonably well. I know we conceded but I can hardly pick my man of the match from the midfielders and strikers if we didn't trouble the scorers can I...

What I'm trying to say is that he really cares and Bolton Wanderers need more of those. We need more quality and more composure. We also need a new manager, £10 million pounds and a 25-goal-a-season striker but for now someone who gives a rat's ass and plays like it gets my vote as MOTM most weeks to be honest.
