Bolton Wanderers release 3rd kit, proceeds benefit limbless veterans

Ok, so maybe it's not the greatest color in the world, but it's for a good cause. Ever since the unfortunate Quick Quid debacle, Bolton Wanderers have shown quite a bit of moral responsibility.

News came out yesterday that Bolton Wanderers will have a third kit this season.  You can read all of the details on the official website here, but you will find the highlights below.

Basically, Bolton have partnered with Blesma, their charity partner for the season, to create a limited edition third kit to be work in select away matches this season.  Blesma was created after World War I.  It is a charity and support group for limbless veterans.  The military green shirt has also been designed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the war to end all wars.  The words Lest we forget appear on the back while the words from the poem For The Fallen by Laurence Binyon are written inside the neck.

Only 1,000 of these shirts have been made, and they will initially only be offered to season ticket holders.  Any remaining shirts will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, 14 October.  The club's official Twitter account sent out the below photos earlier today:
