Bolton Wanderers v Leeds United: Predictions

The match is several hours away, but we know who Neil Lennon will pick to start, or at least whom he should pick to start...

Coming off their 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup, Bolton Wanderers have quite a lengthy injury list heading into this Saturday's league match against Leeds United.  Matt Mills missed out on that one, an dis still nursing a mild ankle problem, but Neil Lennon and everyone else around the club expect him to be able to play.

In addition to Mills, winger Rob Hall will be out a couple of weeks with a more serious ankle injury.  Of course, given the performance of Zach Clough last weekend, many may consider Hall surplus to requirements.  The long-term injury list still includes Marc Tierney, Joe Mason, Max Clayton, Mark Davies, and possibly Kevin McNaughton.  Craig Davies is available, but still not 100% after his hamstring trouble.  Medo Kamara is reportedly on trial at Maccabi Haifa in Israel.  Finally, Chung-Yong Lee is in Australia for the Asian Cup.

I suspect Neil Lennon will stay as close as possible to his favored selection, he is not a man who likes to ring in the changes.

Eidur Gudjohnsen

I think that is a good team.  A little light on goalscoring, not to mention a bit overly dependent on the 19-year-old Clough for creativity.  That aside, I think Gudjohnsen gets his first goal of the season, and Heskey come off the bench to add a late goal of his own.  2-0 to Bolton.
