Bolton Wanderers fans awoke this morning to news that Korean star Lee Chung Yong was stretchered off during South Korea's 1-0 win over Oman last night.

Soon after news of the impact of the injury broke, a comment was made by the Korean Head Coach, German-born Uli Stielike:

There has been tons of speculation this week that LCY will soon be making his exit from the Reebok. Given his contract expires at the end of the season he is one of three stars rumoured to be on his way out along with ex-captain Jay Spearing and fellow midfielder Medo Kamara.
I hope he stays. He's too important to us.
