With Bolton's highly anticipated trip to Anfield vastly approaching, I turned to the Twitter-sphere to ask fellow Bolton fans what they're favourite memories from Bolton Wanderers - Liverpool fixtures over the years are.

"winning 3-1 at the Reebok in 2012, despite struggling for the best part of the season!" - @paddy_hendy

"Losing 4-1 at home. May 1979. Snowy night. Souness scored for Bolton (OG). First match aged 7. Arrived a Red left a White." - @loftythelion58

"The 1-0 at the Reebok in the 04/05 season. Kevin Davies with the only goal, he tore them apart himself that day!." - @smchugh38

"Last time we played Liverpool at the Reebok when we beat them 3-1, that one has stuck in my mind" - @TrotterChatter

"Nicky Hunt once scored against them.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/3447429.stm …" - @MarcusRalphson

"Took my Liverpool fan mate to the game. Liverpool scored. He managed to stay quiet. It got disallowed. He shouts "F**K!!!". Luckily everyone was celebrating the disallowed goal, and nobody heard him." - @theMatthewPryor

"Holdsworth's last minute winner at the Bok in our first season back in Prem. My first real memory of beating a top five team." - @CMerillsBWFC

"Mark Davies' from our 3-1 home win almost three years to the day! Drifting through their defence and scoring from 10/15 yards out" - @bwfchaiden

"David Ngog showing us the player he could be in the 3-1 victory" - @ Andrew_Kenning

"Holdsworth's winner the first year we were promoted. Think Heskey got their goal." - @andrewbuck84

"2-0 in 2006, at the Reebok, Speed free-kick and then Campo smashed a header in off the bar. Quality" - @SamAndrewMartin

"Mavies parting the LFC defence like the red sea in our 3-1 win, a few years back" - @tom_rhys

"FA Cup at home (before the win away). First two mins, Mark Patterson kicking LFC player 2m in the air - welcome to Burnden!" - @GaryYou37986405

"Dean Holsworth making an idiot of Sander Westerweld 2001 win at the Reebok with his last minute howler" - @Telsway

"Enjoyed that 2-0 win where Reina got done for handling the ball outside the area (he didn't) and Speed scored FK" - @JDerbyshireBWFC

Here's hoping they'll be plenty more memories after the weekend!
