Neil Lennon's Bolton Wanderers travel to Liverpool hopeful of a potential upset following a fine run of form in the Championship. The Whites have suffered defeat just once in their last 12 matches, and will be hoping Liverpool's upcoming Carling Cup semi-final second leg on Wednesday will see them distracted today.
All the talk in the build-up to this game has been about Emile Heskey returning to Anfield with Wanderers, and the big striker leads the line on his own, with Eidur Gudjohnsen completing the 73-year-old strikeforce. Craig Davies is again added to Wanderers' depleted attacking options, as he sits out the FA Cup clash with a recurrence of his hamstring injury.
Lennon has gone with a strange looking line-up defensively, as Dean Moxey comes back into the side - raising questions over whether Bolton will line up with three men at the back to match the hosts' 3-5-2 formation.
Meanwhile, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers was expected to rotate his squad with his big guns likely to be rested for Stamford Bridge and Chelsea on Wednesday evening. But he has sent out a strong looking side that features the dangerous strike trio of Coutinho, Lallana and Sterling.
Below is confirmation of the two starting elevens, and we'll bring you live updates from all the action at Anfield. Get in touch with your thoughts in the Comments section below.
