The Sun has today reported that Neil Lennon is on the verge of making Serbian winger Marko Milinković his first signing of the January transfer window.
The 26yr old currently plays for Slovan Bratislava and is believed to have negotiated a free transfer allowing him to fly to England in order to make the move to Bolton Wanderers.
He has made a single appearances for the Serbian national side, though has scored three times in six appearances for the Under 21 team.
His career stats make interesting reading, with him recording 37 goals in just under 170 games, which is a decent record for a winger.
There will be a few heads scratched this morning by Wanderers fans, as Milinković is a new name to most of us. If he offers Wanderers more firepower up front then the move should work out well for all parties and we look forward to seeing how he gets on at the greatest club in the world.
