Zach Clough to Sign New Deal with Bolton Wanderers?

This is the first time I've smiled in weeks.

Newspaper reports suggest that Manchester United and Arsenal target Zach Clough is set to sign a four year deal with Bolton Wanderers.

Clough's contract is set to expire at the end of next season and so, if this extension is agreed, it would vastly improve the transfer fee or length of his time here.

Clough has played 18 times for Bolton, scoring 7 times.

He burst onto the scene after scoring against Wigan in the FA Cup third round game on 3rd January and has since struggled with injuries, being sidelined by different shoulder injuries twice.

As the search for a goal-scoring striker continues, retaining some of our young attacking talent on a presumably upgraded contract is an interesting move.

The only way to gather funds to sign a striker may be to sell either Clough or Josh Vela, is that something we should do?
