Dougie Freedman has further proved he's either a liar or has severe memory loss as he once more signed a player from a former club.
He's swooped in to bring Bolton Wanderers midfielder Liam Trotter to Nottingham Forest.
The 27-year old (!) has gone to the City Ground on a one month loan deal and could make his debut today against Ipswich Town.
The deal has finally been completed after it appeared to be dead in the water, due to financial fair play technicalities at the Forest end.
Trotter, who's made 30 appearances for the Whites scoring twice, has only played five minutes of football this season - on the opening day when he made a mistake that nearly cost us the game against Derby County.
He joins Freedman's side to hopefully gain some match fitness and a bit of form, but will probably be another nail in our former managers coffin. Oh what a delight.
I'll be surprised if Trotter plays in a white shirt again.
