Preston North End v Bolton Wanderers

Deepdale

October 31st, 2015

KO: 18:00

This may be the first relegation 6 pointer we face as Bolton travel to Preston for a televised match on Halloween, a more frightening freak show than any film that can be broadcast. To show how far we've all fallen, the highlights of the '01 play off final before the game on Sky.

Team News:

Bolton Wanderers

Wellington Silva, Zach Clough are still injured and Prince Desir Guano is suspended after his red card against Leeds last week. Gary Madine and Mark Davies are risks after both having suffered injuries, concussion and an inflamed Achilles respectively. A new defence is expected, potentially with centre backs playing in the centre ad fullbacks on the wing, but we cannot be too hopeful. Vela may retain his place, Pisano or Wilson may come back to replace Prince.

Preston North End

Preston North End come into the game having drawn 0-0 with Brighton and having won 3-0 against Charlton the week before. They have been experimenting with a 3-5-2 system, with new signing Vermijl from United playing in wingback, replacing the injured captain Tom Clarke.

One to watch

Daniel Johnson

Preston haven’t scored man in their league campaign, but when they do, more often than not it’s him. The former Aston Villa midfielder was a standout performer in the second half of their  promotion winning season last year.

Prediction

It’ll be an awful low scoring game, as both have too much to lose to risk trying to win. Amos will, hopefully, continue to shine but I’m not confident for a win, as its away. It’l be disappointing not to pick up three points, but if we don’t leave with any, then we are in serious trouble.
