As more uncertainty continues to grow at the Macron Stadium rumours continue to circulate around Bolton as to the clubs future, here at the Lion of Vienna Suite we have been led to believe there may be an end to the troubling situation.
A club insider, who has given us reliable information in the past, has been in touch again - this time with regards to a possible takeover.
Bolton Wanderers have been rumoured to be heading to administration this week with possible job cuts being touted by The Daily Mail (as so meekly refuted by the club).
This individual has reported to us of an 'imminent' potential take over at Bolton Wanderers by an unnamed consortium. We have no confirmation of this nor has there been any notification through public records.
The Lion of Vienna Suite understands the consortium which is looking to takeover 'within the next month' is going to be headed up by a former Wanderers player, again unnamed. Whilst the details are sketchy, it is reportedly akin to the Irish consortium led by Niall Quinn which took over Sunderland in 2006.
Also rumoured is that the takeover will also involve changes 'on/off the pitch.'
You would not be alone in thinking that we have heard all this before as the situation continues to worsen and debate grows as to whether the current regime is damaging the club beyond repair.
We apologise for the somewhat secretive nature of the source and the information, but we can confirm that this person has given us accurate information before, hence our willingness to post.
Let's see what the next month brings ...
