Safe to say this has been a fairly mental international break. Takeover talk a plenty with the revelations last night, the super amazing, smart and handsome Stelios Giannakopoulos intends to submit a rival bid for the club. There will be plenty on LOVS discussing that (and how chairman Stelios is so much better than chairman Dean) so now we look to the next team we’ll draw or lose against, Reading.

Team News:

Bolton Wanderers

Zach Clough and Wellington Silva remain long term absentees but no fresh injury concerns. It remains possible Gary Madine may play drunk after his international week bender; so now he can see two goals and miss them both. No new loan arrivals because money.

Reading

Some possible turmoil for us to take advantage of could be the impending transfer of manager Steve Clarke to Fulham. The Reading manager has expressed his want to go and is in talks in his efforts to be near Tim Ream. Aaron Tshibola is close to returning but this game will probably be too soon.

One to watch

Nick Blackman

I don’t know when he became good but he is. He has scored more goals than Bolton Wanderers have. For a bit more context, Emile Heskey on his current games/goals ratio would need 297 games to achieve the same number. ‘Nuff said really.

Prediction

We’re awful away from home…and at home now I think about it. Reading have a history of absolutely destroying us and one of their strikers has got more goals than our entire team. I think we may get a thrashing. Reading 4-0 Bolton Wanderers.
