As reported in The Sun on Saturday, Bolton Wanderers are looking to sign Liverpool youngster Joao Teixeira and Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Rajiv van La Parra on loan.
Neil Lennon had hoped to secure both players prior to Saturday's 0-0 draw with Bristol City, although it's now thought both players may be signed by the end of the international break. (hopefully)
Teixeira, 22, has found opportunities limited at Liverpool this season, making only one appearance against AFC Bournemouth in the League Cup. Teixeira can play on the wing, however his best position is as an attacking midfielder.
Teixeira had a loan spell with Brighton & Hove Albion last season, scoring 6 goals in 35 games. He was also named Brighton's young player of the season last year, as well as Liverpool's academy player of the year.
Former Netherlands U21 player Rajiv van La Parra, 24, joined Wolves last season from Dutch side SC Heerenveen, and has so far played 45 times in the Championship for Wolves, scoring just one goal.
However, game time has been limited for van La Parra this season, and nearly left Wolves to sign for Leeds United in the summer. van La Parra is comfortable playing on both wings, and will offer width and pace to a Bolton team that is lacking both.
