The club have to say, announced, that they have been placed under a transfer embargo after being unable to submit a Financial Fair Play return to the Football League for the 2014/15 season. According to Bolton Wanderer's finance director, this is because 'The board have been unable to sign off the annual report and accounts for the financial year ending 30th June 2015 during the current financial difficulties the club are experiencing'. This means that the club will not be allowed to sign any players until it has complied with we are able to follow the rules again.

'Until both the short and longer term funding issues the club are currently facing are resolved, the directors will not ne in a position to sign the accounts'

Bolton are receiving a punishment different to that of clubs like Blackburn and Nottingham Forest, we have been totally barred from signing new players, they were only barred from spending more money than is coming in. This will undoubtedly have an effect on the management of the team, now if Neil Lennon was to be fired then a new manager cannot come in and bring his own people into the squad to make it his own.

Well, this is awful. More as this story develops, as always, on the Lion of Veinna Suite. Merry Christmas.
