Merry Christmas from all at Lion of Vienna Suite

It has been a tumultuous year in the world of Bolton Wanderers - with fans and the club continuing to separate at an alarming rate.

On-field woes have been compounded by off-field drama which threatens to have the action moving from the field of play into the courtroom, what with the recent thread of insolvency hanging over our heads.

What hasn't diminished however is the support of the fans. Truly we have the greatest supporters in the world.

It has been a strange year to be involved in the running of a fan blogsite, too. We are a group of passionate and committed Bolton Wanderers who, at the end of the day, love the club and love to write about it.

We're not experts. We're not professionals and we're certainly not journalists. We're lazy, opinionated, foul-mouthed (@Murbroski), but we are mad keen Bolton Wanderers fan who only want the best for our club.

So this is our way of saying thank you for a fantastic year of support from every single reader/commenter, Facebook poster or Tweet sender. We appreciate every single one and hope that you enjoy the content that we put out.

With 2016 on the horizon, we have no idea what will happen to our beloved club - but we can guarantee that we will continue to report, analyse, laugh at, blog and discuss every twist and turn in the bizarre world in which Bolton Wanderers exist.
