Bolton Wanderers vs Cardiff City

Saturday 5th December

Macron Stadium

Well this is it. Quite possibly the last game before administration. When the bills are due next week, barring a last minute agreed bid, we won’t have enough cash to cover it. Staring in to the financial abyss with all the deductions and turmoil that has nearly destroyed clubs in the past. So I won’t use this little introduction to talk about last week or the next but to simply urge everyone to fill the Macron come 3PM. I haven’t the foggiest if it would help on the money front but we have to come together at times like this. We’ll show regardless what happens in the boardroom, we stand together. The team is on its knees. The club is on its knees. All we can do is remind them that we are Bolton Wanderers. We specialise in being the underdog. Regardless of the situation, we don’t quit.

Team News:

Bolton Wanderers

Davies is out having collected 5 yellow cards. The last of which was for certain a straight red last week. Clayton is out for the season speaking of talented players with permanent injuries. God knows what team he’ll come back to. Moxey is close to making a comeback but would be surprised to see Casado dropped.

Cardiff City

No Adam Le Fondre as they couldn't handle such a man. They also sustained no injuries or suspensions in their last game, a 2-2 draw against Bristol City.

I’ll point out last week I got the prediction dead on at 1-1 proving I have the prediction power of Mark Lawrenson and Paul the Octopus’ love child. I really hope we can pack the Macron and create and atmosphere that’ll make Cardiff shit their britches. I’ll do my bit and say we’ll win 2-1.
