The magic of the FA Cup is back, everyone.
Tonight's third round draw has thrown up some juicy-looking all Premier League ties, as well as the mouth watering prospect of...
EASTLEIGH FC vs BOLTON WANDERERS
Just look at that. What a sight to behold. A non-league side facing the Championship strugglers, who'd've thought it?
Ties will be played from the 8th-11th January 2016, but there's also the very real prospect of us being on TV as the BBC/BT Sport/anyone else who owns some sort of FA Cup rights seem to have a fixation for showing non-league sides on terrestrial TV. Let's hope we get our due diligence and manage to bag some free-to-view air time.
If you fancy heading to the game, you're looking at a long old slog. Eastleigh's Silverlake Stadium (otherwise known as Ten Acres) is 236 miles south of our beloved Macron Stadium, around an hour away from Bournemouth. It has a capacity of just over 5,000, the majority of which is standing, and our visit is likely to max their current record attendance of 4,216 which was amassed during a 4-0 win against Macclesfield earlier this year.
Let's hope we don't embarrass ourselves even further and go out of the FA Cup on national television, ey?
