Here we are again, lads and lasses. It's December, it's cold and we've got key first team players out injured.
It was around this time last year that Bolton Wanderers' injury woes of the 2014/2015 season began but it looks as though this term will be just as perilous as the previous for our first-team squad, as today Max Clayton has been ruled out for yet another injury - this time it's four months on the sidelines with a torn hamstring.
The 21-year-old forward limped out of Wanderers' 1-1 draw with Brentford one week ago after slipping whilst stretching to control a loose ball. Said slip left him flat on his arse, but it turns out things are much worse than anyone feared.
The former Crewe Alexandra man now joins Zach Clough, Wellington Sliva and Derik Osede (amongst others) on the Bolton treatment table.
In the words of our LOVS' very own @robilaz, the injury conveyor belt runs on and on...
