Bolton Wanderers have been eagerly anticipating this day ever since Dougie Freedman was appointed the new Nottingham Forest manager following the departure of Stuart Pearce. The Whites will be keen to get one over the man who was so hated by the time he left Bolton back in October, to be replaced by Neil Lennon.
Lennon makes two changes to the side that lost 4-3 to Watford last weekend, with captain Matt Mills returning from injury to partner Dorian Dervite and January deadline day signing Filip Twardzik making his first start for the club in place of Saidy Janko. Where Twardzik lines up will be interesting, but I'd expect him to start on the left of midfield with assist machine Liam Feeney on the right. Emile Heskey returns from injury to take his place on the bench.
Forest had an epic 4-4 draw with basement club Blackpool last weekend and look to have gone with Dougie's favourite 4-5-1 formation, with big lump Dexter Blackstock leading the line in the absence of leading scorer Britt Assombalonga. They'll certainly have threats from wide areas in the form of former Sheffield Wednesday winger Michail Antonio and ex-Birmingham man Chris Burke. There's also goals in midfield in Arsenal youth product Henri Lansbury.
