The injury bug has hit Bolton Wanderers full force since Neil Lennon's arrival, and the extra match tonight only makes things more difficult. It would have been so much easier to beat Liverpool at Anfield. But instead of a win we got a great performance and a 0-0 draw. In other good news, reinforcements have arrived for the injury list, with seven new signings in the week before the transfer deadline. Those signings are not eligible for this match though.
Lennon started three at the back the first time around, but this match is at home, and I think the manager has an appreciation for the "old-fashioned cup tie" aspect of the FA Cup. Who will start then? Here is my prediction:
Andy Lonergan
Kevin McNaughton Matt Mills David Wheater Dean Moxey
Rob Hall Josh Vela Neil Danns Liam Trotter Zach Clough
Eidur Gudjohnsen
The bench will feature a lot of youngsters as well, because there really is no other option. Sadly, I don't think it will be enough to send Brendan Rodgers' side out of the tournament. 2-1 to Liverpool.
