One left-field rumour recently saw Bolton Wanderers' versatile American defender Tim Ream linked with a move home to the States with New York Red Bulls.
Speaking to ESPN recently, Ream was asked the question, and his reply was thus:
"No, not at all, and to be honest at this point -- I'm only 27 -- I'm not really interested in going back yet,"
He continued:
"I'm obviously enjoying my time here and playing well for Bolton. The team is picking up points and I haven't even given it a thought to come back yet."
27-year-old Ream signed a new contract with Bolton last summer that runs through the 2016-17 season but with MLS throwing huge sums of money at United States internationals it perhaps came as no surprise to see the player linked with a return to the Noo Yoiked based outfit.
To his credit, he has won over an at-times skeptical Wanderers fanbase, and is now a stalwart of our back line.
