TRIALIST: Slovenian Matija Boben Arrives in Bolton

The official Bolton Wanderers twitter account has just revealed the team sheet for tonight's Under 21 game against Reading at Leyland.

Among the familiar names of Quade Taylor, Ryan Sellers and on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos is that of Slovenian centre half Matija Boben:

Information on Boben is a bit scarce, but a minute's Googling tells me that we are dealing with a 20 year old centre half, currently playing for Nogometni Klub Ivančna Goric in the Slovenian Third League.

He'll be used to playing at grounds similar to that he finds himself in tonight at Leyland, considering that the Ivančna Gorica Stadium holds a mere 1,500 - equivalent to that of the County Ground.

So a new name for Bolton fans to consider, and I wonder if we'll hear more again in the future.
