After a series of midweek matches, and the usual rash of injuries, Neil Lennon may have a tired squad to pick from for the match against Wigan Athletic. There is some fresh blood available, and I would expect Bolton Wanderers to have yet another different look in the match day 18. After all, 42 different players have turned out for the Whites this season, so what's a few more changes...
This is the team that Lennon put out against Ipswich Town on Tuesday:
Ben Amos
Josh Vela Matt Mills Dorian Dervite Tim Ream
Rochinha Liam Trotter Giles Coke Tom Walker
Eidur Gudjohnsen
Craig Davies
I think there will definitely be changes from that group. For starters, Emile Heskey, Adam Le Fondre, Liam Feeney, and Saidy Janko look likely to be available after missing out on Tuesday through injury. The Crystal Palace loan duo of Barry Bannan and Paddy McCarthy will also be aching for a return to the starting XI:
Amos
Vela Mills McCarthy Ream
Janko Bannan Simeon Slavchev Walker
Le Fondre Davies
That should be enough to beat Wigan. And quite honestly, we are due to beat someone handily, it would be nice if this were it. Unfortunately, our poor away form makes me a pessimist. I'll go with a frustrating 2-2 draw.
