Bolton Wanderers announced Friday that there will be no Davies available for Saturday's match. Notice there is not a breaking news band across the top of the page. After a few games back in action, Craig Davies has picked up another injury and will miss the rest of the season. Neil Lennon had been hinting that Mark Davies would return from 6 months on the sidelines against Norwich City, but that won't happen either. So with the Davies boys back in their personal suite at the Macron Stadium treatment room, who will play on Saturday?
Adam Bogdan
Dorian Dervite Matt Mills Tim Ream
Saidy Janko Josh Vela Barry Bannan Tom Walker
Eidur Gudjohnsen
Emile Heskey Adam Le Fondre
Lennon spoke very fondly of the 3-5-2 formation in his press conference this week, and I think he will stick with it. The only change I see is Le Fondre coming back in for Davies. Will that be enough to beat Norwich City? Probably not. They are second in the table on 76 points, and have had an excellent season. If they offered Neil Lennon a point right now he would turn it down, because he is so damn competitive, but I would take it. I think it ends 2-2, and is even mildly entertaining.
What do you think?
