Following the farce of the recent 'FourFourTwo' magazine list of the Top 50 Players outside the Premier League containing precisely no Bolton Wanderers players - in itself not a problem, but when you look at some of the names on the list you have to question the sanity of the writers.

Thankfully, the Telegraph has seen fit not to make the same mistake as FourFourTwo.

Our very own Josh Vela and Zach Clough have made the list in first and second place respectively, beating the likes of Tyrone Mings of Ipswich Town, Demarai Gray of Birmingham City, Teddy Bishop (again of) Ipswich Town, Che Adams of Sheffield United and Callum Camps of Rochdale.

Vela and Clough have reaped the rewards of Bolton boss Neil Lennon's faith in youngsters - something that his predecessor Dougie Freedman was incapable of doing.

It is pleasing to see that their progress has been recognised but let's keep the hype down eh, we want to make sure that both are Bolton Wanderers players for the foreseeable future.
