Wanderers face relegation threatened Blackpool later today

The mighty Bolton Wanderers welcome near neighbours and relegation threatened Blackpool to the Reebok Staidum this afternoon in what is bound to be an entertaining game between two teams who can't defend.

Blackpool, with relegation staved off for another week following Rotherham's inability to beat Birmingham City yesterday, arrive at fortress Reebok with just four wins to their name this season. Conceding two goals per game, on average, their patched up and make-do defence will no doubt struggle to cope with Wanderers attack. Reports of Adam Le Fondre and Eidur Gudjohnsen being spotted rubbing their hands together in anticipation have yet to be confirmed.

Neil Lennon has spoke of his desire to see an attacking performance from his side, and you can reasonably anticipate the combination of a weak Blackpoolian defence and a somewhat in-form Wanderers attack should yield goals.

With Mark Davies' latest return from injury still a fortnight away, and therefore his latest injury just three weeks away, it should be a relatively unchanged Wanderers side that lines up later on today. Blackpool have used the most players in the division, currently at 345, and so predicting their starting XI is a useless enterprise.

So come on down to the game, sit back and enjoy, We're more or less safe, and playing against a side with nothing to play for - entertainment is virtually guaranteed.

On that basis my prediction is a tedious 0-0.
