It's been a surprisingly busy post-season for Bolton Wanderers, with plenty of new transfer gossip doing the rounds almost daily for us all to debate over and scrutinise. This time the news comes from Football League World (who actually used a wrong photo of the player in their article) and a couple of over prestigious sources on the internet.
The player in question on this occasion is Nantes winger Vincent Bessat. The 29 year-old Frenchman is out of contract with his club in a months time, and even though an extension seems to still be an option, he's been heavily linked with a move to the Championship.
London outfit Charlton Athletic are seemingly the front runner for the left sided midfielder, with Guy Luzon looking to bolster his squad in a bit to push for the play offs next season, but rumours suggest the Whites have also joined the race. Although, staying in France and Ligue 1 could also be an option, as Lorient have also been linked with Bessat.
Vincent Bessat has made 127 appearances for Nantes over four years, scoring on seven occasions, and he played an important role in Nantes' top flight survival this season.
