ROK Mobile New BWFC Kit Sponsors

Another ghastly logo.

With the kit sponsorship deal between Bolton Wanderers and FibrLec run its course, the club have today announced which brand will be adorning the front of our kits next. And the honour falls to ROK Mobile.

The club and the mobile company which is actually yet to launch have signed a two year deal, which will see the company's rather simple logo of red square containing the company name written in black and white feature front and centre on both the home and away kits for next season.

However, the sponsor will not appear on the new third kit, as that is being saved for the Wanderers' charity initiatives, a noble act. And in other news, we're getting a third kit again.

A new sponsor which doesn't cause a controversy comes as quite a relief, after the QuickQuid fiasco of two years ago, and there seems to be little of offence in what ROk Mobile aim to achieve when they launch in the UK in July.

ROK Mobile, as the name would suggest, is a new mobile network, but this one is different as it's a music focuses mobile network. ROK Mobile is a SIM only, 30 day rolling contract service, and every customer gets ad-free premium access to its music streaming service.

I hear that ROK are big in the USA, and are no doubt now hoping to break into the British market.

Richard Gough, Head of Commercial at Bolton Wanderers, said:

"We're delighted to welcome ROK Mobile as our new principal shirt sponsors for the coming seasons.

"ROK Mobile are very much a forward-thinking and ambitious company and this is an exciting deal for both entities. We are looking forward to a successful working partnership.

"We'd also like to take this opportunity to place our thanks on record to our previous principal shirt sponsors, FibrLec."

ROK Mobile Director, Kendrick, added:

"We're very proud and delighted to be a new member of the Bolton Wanderers family.

"We're scheduled to launch in July, just before the new season begins and we look forward to being part of what we all hope will be an outstanding two years for the team and its supporters."

Bolton new kits for the 2015/16 are to be revealed by the end of the week.
