Neil Lennon and Bolton Wanderers have decided to extend the trial of Spanish midfielder Jon Ceberio.
The former Antiguoko KE midfielder is hoping to follow in the footsteps of the great Ivan Campo, and the less-great Marcos Alonso in the annals of time. Wanderers have, of course, had players from all over the world - but Spaniards have been poorly represented over time.
Ceberio, should he sign a full time deal, with follow in the footsteps of other ex-Antiguoko alumni including former Liverpool and Real Madrid icon Xabi Alonso and ex-Everton and Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta, both of whom have captained their respective former clubs in days gone by.
The on trial midfielder impressed during a first half appearance last weekend against against Atherton Collieries, along with another solid performance in Monday night's 3-1 win at Gainsborough Trinity.
Obviously we suspect that Iain Brunskill has his eye on Ceberio for his youth team, but we will watch his progress with a keen eye.
