Now, Tyrone Mears is a figure of fun at Bolton Wanderers.

The former West Ham United, Manchester City and Olympique Marseille (no, seriously) defender is currently plying his trade and, let's not pretend, living the dream over Stateside with Seattle Sounders.

Not bad for a flop.

Mears' strike earned over 50 percent of the public vote with 56.02%

Orlando City SC star Kaká finished in a distant second at 18.35% and Ethan Finlay of Columbus Crew SC finished third with 14.79% of the vote.

1. Tyrone Mears (SEA) - 56.02%
2. Kaká (ORL) - 18.35%
3. Ethan Finlay (CLB) - 14.79%
4. Mauro Diaz (DAL) - 5.53%
5. Sebastian Lletget (LA) - 5.32%
