We broke the news going on six weeks ago now of Bolton Wanderers' supposed interest in young Real Madrid defender, Derek Osede.
Well, now it appears that the rumour is gathering pace.
Madrid based paper, Marca, are today reporting that the 22-year old Castilla centre back is on the verge of signing for the Whites on a free, after being released by Real Madrid.
Odessa would certainly be an interesting signing should Neil Lennon (if he does remain at the club) does manage to bring him in. We are in dire need of some reinforcements at centre back, due to missing out on the signing of Craig Morgan to Wigan Athletic and with no other targets seemingly insight.
The Spaniard has played 51 times for Madrid's second team, having spent 13 years climbing up the ranks in Madrid, and has also been capped a couple of times at u21 level for Spain.
