It's a Brand New #LOVpod - Episode 18

A drunken mess.

This week's episode of the Lion of Vienna podcast was quite an awkward affair, with four segments recorded over three days, one of which this week's host, Dan Murphy, was steaming drunk on. Which you may find annoying or humourous depending on your taste.

Dan was joined at various points by Elliot, Rob and Arran Clements as they discussed a wide range of things.

First of all was a brief chat on the return of football, as a Bolton Wanderers XI traveled to Dan's home town of Atherton to face Atherton Collieries.

Next up discussion on all the going ons at the Macron this week, including chat on Ben Amos, Gary Madine and Darren Pratley all signing with the Wanderers, Wilson Palacios and Stephen Dobbie coming in on trial, the signing of Derik Osede, dreams of Kevin Nolan returning, and the saddening departure of Eidur Gudjohnsen.

The second segment was a chat about how to improve the atmosphere at the Macron next season, as the lads went for a teaming with the club on how to improve it.

Then they discussed the possibility of Neil Lennon leaving the club to go and manage his old side, Leicester City, which led nicely on to the question of the week which was discussing who Lennon's replacement could be.
