Jamaica are Six-Time winners of the Caribbean Cup and to date have failed to deliver on the bigger stage of the Gold Cup, traditionally dominated by the powerhouses of Mexico and the United States of America. They have managed to finish third in the tournament and begin this year's campaign against Costa Rica on 8th July at the 'StubHub Arena.'
The side are most well known due to their qualification for the 1998 World Cup with their 'Reggae Boyz' generation including a young Wanderers cult hero Ricardo Gardner. The Reggae Boyz even rose to somewhat dizzy heights in the FIFA World Rankings managing their record high of 28th.
