Buoyed after their 0-0 draw with Derby County at the weekend, Bolton Wanderers tonight take on lower league opposition as they welcome Burton Albion to the Macron in the first round of the Capital One Cup / League Cup / Tin Pot Cup / whatever it's called these days cup.

Last season's League Two champions come to the Macron on a high having won their first ever match in the third tier of English football, in a 2-1 victory over Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

Mark Davies captains a strong looking Bolton side, and he partners Josh Vela in midfield, with Neil Danns likely to be in a holding role in Jay Spearing's absence. Rob Holding comes in at centre-back to make his full debut for the club, and other than that Wanderers are unchanged from the draw with Derby. Three youngsters make the bench in the form of Kaiyne Woolery, Quade Taylor and Tom Walker.

As for Burton, we aren't totally sure how they'll line up but they have named five defenders so it'll be interesting to see their formation.
